Day 7
.

Sabbath was another busy but great day for the group.  We woke up, had breakfast and went to church.  The pastors had another great sermon and a call for baptism.  Over the week we saw about 6 baptisms.  The sight would have brought tears to your eyes.  After church the group quickly ran to the bus and drove to the next town north and had lunch in the local Seventh-day Adventist school.  We had  a good lunch and some of the staff from the school went with us to the local jail for some medical services.  It is hard to describe the conditions.  The medical care was non existent and the food was a basic beans and rice 3 times a day.  It was a great site to see men smile and appreciate the attention we gave them.  Also Nancy and her group said a prayer with each inmate as they left the clinic.  Not one soul turned her down.  What a great need there is in the world to hear the word of the Lord.  Let us all try and give just a little more of what we have to spread the word and maybe the Lord will just come that much sooner.  I do hope you have a good week.  Thank you so much for all the prayers.  It worked, I know this because we had such a successfull trip.  Alfredo is allready trying to coordinate where he will take another group next year.  I think he has the choice of coming back here or going to Nicaragua.  If you would like to help out and recieve a greater blessing than you can ever give to the people of a different country, just let Alfredo know you would like to join.  Thank you again for all the prayers.
